Convection CAB Brazing Furnace |
A pure convection heated CAB Furnace is the most efficient means to braze a wide variety of heat exchangers in the shortest possible cycle time. Product throughput is the name of the game here. This straight convection type furnace maintains excellent temperature uniformity while still enabling the manufacturer to braze very large heat exchangers with regard to sectional thickness. Convection heating is the best means to bring the entire heat exchanger (fins, tubes, headers) to brazing temperature in the recirculated nitrogen atmosphere.
A convection brazing system takes less floor space due to its shorter overall length when comparing to other furnaces that have similar production rates. Cycle heating times can be as low as 5 minutes, while mixing load with diverse products. These furnace systems are popular with the automotive industry where installation space requirements are limited and intermixing of various size products is typically done.
