High Pressure Quench Vacuum Furnace with Low Pressure Vacuum Carburizing We welcome recent graduates and experienced professionals to apply for these positions in Meadville, PA for our Vacuum, Thermal Process (Atmosphere Furnaces & Generators) and Aluminum Teams:
SALES APPLICATIONS ENGINEER Originate layouts, concepts, and designs for sale of furnaces and modifications to existing furnaces. Requires application of structural, combustion, heat transfer and atmosphere design concepts. Assist customers in preparing technical specifications. Negotiate customer contract issues, final price, terms and conditions. BS Engineering.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Design and develop all aspects of electrical control components for industrial heat treat equipment. Must have ability to program Allen Bradley PLCs, Rockwell Software, and InTouch HMI. Work with ME to design furnaces. Work with field service on installation and start up of control software. BS EE or BS EET or AS EE with experience.
MECHANICAL ENGINEER Use engineering disciplines to analyze structural strength, combustion, heat transfer, and atmosphere as required to design custom industrial heat-treating equipment to customer performance and reliability requirements. BS ME or BS MET.

SECO/WARWICK USA is located in Meadville, PA with both engineering offices and a 110,000 square foot manufacturing facility located 1 mile from I-79 in northwestern Pennsylvania. (Click here for a map to our plant) The City of Meadville is the county seat of Crawford County and home to more than 13,000 full time residents. Crawford County is part of Northwestern PA's Lake Erie Region conveniently located 39 miles south of Erie. Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo are within a two-hour drive.
Crawford County is home to more than 11 golf courses and the region is ideal for cross-country skiing, hiking, canoeing, boating, swimming, hunting and fishing -- in fact, there are eight freshwater lakes within a 40-minute drive.
Meadville also offers plenty of "local flavor" with more than 30 restaurants from fast food to fine dining. Some other favorite eateries include Hank's (a soft ice cream stand) and Eddie's (foot-long hot dog stand) as well as the historic Meadville Market House.
With the three key shopping centers nearby, the town is also convenient for those who love to shop. In addition, Erie's Millcreek Mall is just 35 minutes away and the Grove City Outlet Mall is 45 minutes by car.
