SECO/WARWICK's Metal Minutes SolidWorks eDrawing

Feature Article, Vol. 60, Issue 4 ,  Fall/Winter 2002

For C. S. Aluminium, SECO/Warwick introduced a new engineering software program called SolidWorks®. This software offers 3D design capability for checking interferences and movement of mechanical devices.

Are you new to SolidWorks® 3D CAD eDrawings?   A great feature of this software is that the designer can pack up the illustration with a drawing viewer into an .exe file.  When you open the file, the viewer allows you to zoom, rotate or animate the image.

Check out our eDrawing of the down ender device at the discharge end material handling system. This down ender  will ultimately be handling 38,000 pound aluminum ingots and will weigh over 20,000 pounds when completed.

SolidWorks® is a registered trademark of SolidWorks Corporation, Concord, MA.
