PRODUCTION MANAGER

We are looking for a Production Manager in Pune, India.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

/ Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and ensure optimization of production processes to minimize production downtime and maximize equipment utilization.
/ Manage overall production performance, including quality control and inventory management.
/ Ensure compliance with manufacturing quality standards and procedures to ensure that products meet our specifications and exceed customer expectations.
/ Manage day-to-day operations of production, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to production schedules and deadlines.
/ Develop and manage budgets, controlling production costs and ensuring budget targets are achieved.
/ Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to identify and resolve production issues.
/ Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and environmental standards by properly managing hazardous materials, waste management and hazardous waste disposal.

QUALIFICATIONS:

/ minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Management or related field.
/ At least 15 years of experience in production and/or manufacturing management.
/ Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with an acute attention to detail.
/ Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
/ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
/ Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
/ Knowledge of safety regulations for equipment and processes in a manufacturing environment.
