During this process, the system eliminates the requirement for flux, which is not required to\u00a0create joints with an alloy addition in\u00a0brazed details, or\u00a0in\u00a0solid form in\u00a0the furnace.\u00a0 The key element of vacuum aluminum brazing is the use of magnesium as\u00a0an alloy addition in\u00a0brazed details, or\u00a0as\u00a0a\u00a0solid form in\u00a0the furnace. Magnesium is essential in\u00a0the process as\u00a0it can bind oxygen and water vapor upon evaporation, thus improving the vacuum purity. The process also reduces the aluminum oxide on\u00a0the soldered part surface, allowing the system to\u00a0wet the details evenly and quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Vacuum aluminum brazing has a\u00a0very narrow range of acceptable process temperatures. As\u00a0a\u00a0rule of thumb, the filler metal must liquefy before the base metal reaches solidus temperature. It can work with any of the three VAB products\u2019 types. It is used to&nbsp;remove oil from parts before they are loaded into the furnace. An alcohol washer can be&nbsp;used instead, and the vacuum oil separator speeds up the process in&nbsp;the main VAB furnace. Parts in&nbsp;the oil separator are heated to&nbsp;370-400\u00baC and transferred to&nbsp;the main VAB furnace, thanks to&nbsp;which the parts in&nbsp;the VAB furnace are heated from 400\u00baC to&nbsp;600\u00baC.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Another additional product of the VAB line can be&nbsp;an air cooling chamber. After brazing at&nbsp;600\u00baC, the parts are cooled below 500\u00baC and, in&nbsp;order to&nbsp;release the brazing chamber, they are transferred to&nbsp;another cooling chamber, where they are cooled by&nbsp;air\u00a0 exchangers. Aluminum at&nbsp;this temperature no&nbsp;longer oxidizes and it is safe for quality and surface.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_tab][et_pb_tab title=&#8221; &#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.23.1&#8243;
