Air transport is a\u00a0sector that develops very dynamically. According to\u00a0the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) \u201cthe total number of passengers carried on\u00a0scheduled services reached 3.7 billion in\u00a02016, by\u00a06.0 per cent more than last year\u201d<\/a>. Moreover, it is estimated that the number of passengers at\u00a0the Polish airports will increase by\u00a011%<\/a> in\u00a02017, and the analysts of the largest manufacturers of airliners forecast that the number of passengers around the world will almost triple<\/a> several years from now.<\/p>\n

Development of aviation constitutes a\u00a0challenge for manufacturers<\/strong><\/h2>\n

With the development of the aviation industry, manufacturers of aircraft components face a\u00a0challenge not only in\u00a0ensuring appropriate capacities, but also in\u00a0delivering products of the highest quality. Meeting such expectations would not be\u00a0possible without regular implementation of product and technology innovations. In\u00a0this area, SECO\/WARWICK, a\u00a0Polish company, is a\u00a0leader in\u00a0designing state-of-the-art heat treatment systems for the aviation industry. For example, SECO\/WARWICK developed a\u00a0new solution that meets the stringiest AMS standards that ensure complete control over temperature<\/a> of the treated components in\u00a0a\u00a0multi-chamber vacuum furnace during the entire process. The solution was successfully implemented in\u00a0a\u00a0two-chamber CaseMaster Evolution<\/a>\u00a0vacuum furnace used for vacuum hardening of aircraft components. This system can achieve unique results in\u00a0treating components for the automotive, wind power and commercial hardening plants.<\/p>\n

Today, not many people in\u00a0Poland know that the components of the aircraft they are aboard are being manufactured with Polish solutions that are used for manufacturing turbine blades, landing gears, and aluminium aircraft skin.<\/p>\n

\"Development<\/p>\n

SECO\/WARWICK is riding high: the aviation industry places more and more orders<\/h3>\n

Last year, the Czech commercial hardening plant GALVAMET placed an order with SECO\/WARWICK for a\u00a010-bar vacuum furnace with gas quenching<\/a>, which is used to\u00a0increase its production capacity in\u00a0terms of the heat treatment of aviation components. In\u00a0addition to\u00a0that, Heroux-Devtek Inc<\/a>, the third largest manufacturer of landing gear around the world and supplier for both the commercial and military branches of the aviation industry, purchased a\u00a0SECO\/WARWICK two-bar, high-vacuum system intended for brazing which is out for installation in\u00a0its plant in\u00a0Scarborough, ON, Canada.<\/p>\n

The customer list was also expanded by\u00a0companies from the East<\/a> and the North, including but not limited to\u00a0Wallwork Cambridge<\/a> Ltd., which returned to\u00a0SECO\/WARWICK to\u00a0purchase the second 10-bar hardening system for its plant in\u00a0Cambridge, England. Wallwork Cambridge, UK is a\u00a0member of the Wallwork Group specializing in\u00a0hard coverings, heat treatment, machinery construction, vacuum brazing and other services compliant with ISO 9000 and BS EN\u00a09100 standards related to\u00a0the aviation industry.<\/p>\n
