Emilia Wo\u0142owiec-Korecka, PhD, DSc – The Associate Professor of the Lodz University of Technology, Poland. She is an expert in material engineering field, especially in thermo-chemical treatment. She supports the use of numerical heat treatment simulators in the process of reducing production costs. She is recognized as the author of over 100 publications, over 20 patents, coordinator and contractor of scientific projects, conference speaker. As a member of ASM International and Heat Treating Society, she participates in scientifical and technical events. Privately, she is a fan of Stanis\u0142aw Lem’s prose and Oriana Fallaci’s reportages. Hobbistically deals with statistical analyses, golf playing, birds & bats observations.
