SECO/VACUUM Relocates to New Office Facilities

29-Aug-2017

SECO/VACUUM’s entrance into the North American vacuum furnace market as the newest vacuum furnace manufacturer is off to a roaring start. Besides landing orders for nearly 10 furnaces in the first several months of their existence, the company is also relocating to newly remodeled offices in Meadville, Pennsylvania, home of sister company SECO/WARWICK Corporation. As part of a much larger facelift for the 180 Mercer Street office building, SECO/VACUUM is relocating to Suite 101 where all the key players in the organization will be able to work closely with each other to quickly address customer inquiries.

New office and relocation of SVT

According to the Managing Director, Piotr Zawistowski, “Responsiveness to our customers is Target One for us. We’ve built this company on the premise that customer responsiveness is the single most important factor in our success, so we’ve reorganized ourselves into close proximity to one another so that we can openly and freely talk with each other and ensure our customers get timely and accurate responses to any questions.”

Director of Sales, Bill Warwick was so committed to being close to his co-workers that he relocated from Wisconsin western Pennsylvania. “We know our equipment is super, we know our service is super, but in order to make sure our customers always have the best experience possible with our team, it was important for me to be in western Pennsylvania. The Internet is good, but being there is a huge benefit when it comes to getting what the customer needs quickly,” said Warwick.

The SECO/VACUUM team, which has added on several new employees in that last 9 months, is ready for aggressive growth. “We feel our day in the market has finally come,” said lead salesman Tom Hart. “We’ve been laying the groundwork for success for several years and have been semi-aggressively pursuing the market. Now we have all of the right players in the right places and we’re ready to start taking our success story to our North American clientele,” added Hart who has been instrumental in the sale of no less than eight furnace systems since the company launched in early 2017. Hart concluded, “This relocation to a more centralized office setting is just another reason why customers will be happy with us. We’ll be responding quickly. They like it.”

After Hart sells the equipment, Don Marteeny, Steve Chornack, and Brandon Gray grab the reigns and begin a continual process of making sure current SECO/VACUUM customers are well served with aftermarket parts and service including regularly scheduled maintenance calls. “We’re committed to being the #1 vacuum service organization in the country,” said Marteeny who is also a technical director for the company. “Both Steve and Brandon are top-notch service technicians who are people-pleasers. They understand the importance of listening and responding,” said Marteeny. Marteeny is also responsible for scheduling field service engineers.

Relocation as a part of a larger renovation

SECO/VACUUM’s relocation is part of a larger renovation going on at 180 Mercer Street in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Managing Director, Jonathan Markley is overseeing a comprehensive shop cleanup and office makeover that promises to bring the 1950’s vintage facade and interior of the office building into one of the more modern-looking office suites in the SECO/WARWICK family. “This office upgrade more accurately reflects the company we are and want to be – modern and innovative

A customer interested in seeing the new facilities will have the opportunity to do so in the second quarter of 2018 when all of the upgrades are scheduled to be finished. At that time (exact date yet to be determined), SECO/VACUUM will host an Open House to showcase a new North American Vacuum Showroom where the company will debut its Vector furnace, a fully-functioning unit dedicated to providing customers with a hands-on experience and fully capable of running production-size test loads for process validation. The Showroom will also feature a fully-stocked parts warehouse with many of the most common parts – this to ensure customers can get near-next day delivery of critical replacement parts.
