Plasma Arc Melting (PAM) – Retech plasma technology uses an electric arc to melt metals and other materials utilizing a water-cooled, copper hearth to yield clean, as-cast metal by removing high- and low-density inclusions as well as preventing contamination from elements like Oxygen during refining.
Vacuum Arc remelt (VAR) – Retech has enjoyed being a worldwide leader in the production of Vacuum Arc Remelt (VAR) furnaces designed to melt reactive and refractory metals as well as steel. Retech VAR furnaces can be configured for a range of capacities for producing ingots or castings, from a laboratory scale to many tons, depending on customer requirements.
