Foundry Tech + Expo 2026 is Japan’s only trade fair dedicated exclusively to the foundry and casting industry. The exhibition showcases the latest casting technologies, materials, machinery, equipment, components, and services for modern manufacturing. The event attracts foundry professionals, engineers, technology specialists, manufacturers, and decision-makers seeking innovative solutions and new business opportunities.
Retech, a SECO/WARWICK Group company and the 1st Choice Technologies for Vacuum Melting Systems, dedicated to precision investment casting, will present:
- Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) Furnaces — can easily handle a wide range of materials used in everything from automotive and consumer products to critical, high-value equiax, directionally solidified or single-crystal aerospace parts.
- JetCaster — The innovative technology opens up several new possibilities in the field of monocrystalline casting of nickel and cobalt-based superalloys. JetCaster VIM DS/SC DGCC is used to produce high-quality precision turbine blade castings in the aviation and energy industry. The crystallization method is enhanced by injection of cooling gas which improves casting structure and reduces overall process time.
- Electron Beam Melting (EB)– Electron Beam melting provides the user with a proven refining technology for a wide range of specialty metals and alloys. A Retech Electron Beam (EB) furnace utilizes the ease of use and low maintenance of Von Ardenne guns and cold hearth to melt reactive and refractory metals in a sealed vacuum chamber
- Plasma Arc Melting (PAM) – Retech plasma technology uses an electric arc to melt metals and other materials utilizing a water-cooled, copper hearth to yield clean, as-cast metal by removing high- and low-density inclusions as well as preventing contamination from elements like Oxygen during refining.
- Vacuum Arc remelt (VAR) – Retech has enjoyed being a worldwide leader in the production of Vacuum Arc Remelt (VAR) furnaces designed to melt reactive and refractory metals as well as steel. Retech VAR furnaces can be configured for a range of capacities for producing ingots or castings, from a laboratory scale to many tons, depending on customer requirements
