SECO/WARWICK inventions solve everyday heat treat problems

As the technological leader and innovative heat treatment furnaces producer, SECO/WARWICK provides standard or customized state-of-the-art heat processing equipment and technologies to meet the needs, possibilities and requirements of clients and industries.

At this event, SECO/WARWICK will present its expertise with vacuum and vacuum metallurgy technology which enables the successful implementation of company projects, and allows the user to grow and gain more confidence in their production capabilities.

Vacuum metallurgy will be represented by two main products:

PAM – this system uses an electrically excited gas, typically Helium or Argon, to melt reactive and refractory metals in a sealed chamber under inert atmosphere. This furnace can be designed for a wide range of product sizes, from a few pounds to many tons, as well as for production of everything from ingots and powder to castings.

VIM -is in use for variety of applications, including automotive, consumer, aerospace, and energy utilizing equiax, directionally solidified, or single-crystal investment castings. Thanks to a combination of system innovation and a focus on specific needs, this system consistently delivers value and a competitive advantage for clients.

Vacuum expertise will be on display featuring:

CME – this hybrid furnace allows users to transition from vacuum to atmosphere while providing flexibility for both oil quenching and gas cooling capabilities, making the furnace design extremely flexible. It is cost efficient to operate and delivers repeatable, high volume processing with very low consumption of carburizing gases.

VECTOR – is the SECO/WARWICK flagship product which is a multipurpose single-chamber vacuum furnace using a gas quench. It can be used for a wide variety of heat treating processes and applications and provides important capabilities for producing high-uniformity of heat treated parts, high consistency in workloads, and high speed in batch processing with low consumption of power and process gases.

UCM – is a new approach to reduce the distortion of gears in continuous production with a single-piece flow case hardening system for high volume manufacturing.

Product premiere!
