- Work with Project Engineers to design and implement electrical power and control circuitry for heat processing equipment.
- Provide controls information to generate complete and accurate CAD drawings required for electrical systems, and/or electrical heating elements.
- Approve all electrical drawings before releasing to our shop.
- Develop and complete electrical CAD drawings.
- Apply appropriate technology and judgment to promote safe equipment and operations.
- Assist Sales Engineers with project quotes via technical information and initial customer visits.
- Ensure that all electrical budgets are correct or being updated as warranted by design and complete the bi-weekly status with a thorough description of accomplishments, savings and problem areas.
- Design and develop safe and useful PLC programs and operator interface applications.
- Develop fabrication work orders.
- Provide the specific team electrical design information on instrumentation, heating elements, and updated designs.
- Provide detailed and accurate requisitions to Purchasing Department, via the in-house computer system, to allow them to get competitive quotes.
- Monitor and compare material prices regularly.
- Assist in shop checkout of panels and systems when necessary.
- Assist in the development of product operation manuals.
- Participate in semi-annual SECO/WARWICK training seminars given for our customers.

- Programming and debugging of electrical control software.
- Become highly knowledgeable in the specifications, capabilities, and operation of
- Seco/Warwick products and understand electrical components and controlling software.
- Answer customer and installer technical inquiries regarding Seco/Warwick products via telephone, letters, fax, and e-mail.
- Travel to customers facilities to provide on-site support.
- Troubleshoot all electrical and PLC and HMI problems.
- Identify and recommend improvements in Seco/Warwick products, software, controls, documentation, and procedures.
- Review owner’s manuals, installation manuals, and maintenance manuals for completeness, technical accuracy, and areas likely to be misinterpreted.
- Provide on-site support of Seco/Warwick installations and troubleshooting in an
- Manufacturing environment
- Train customer’s personnel in the installation and operation of Seco/Warwick equipment
- Remain at customer installation or repair sites for an extended period of time as required.
