Seco/Warwick Corporation seeks Mechanical Engineers (multiple openings) to work in Meadville, PA, to support the layout, design, and engineering of industrial heat processing equipment. Duties include:
- working closely with Project Engineers and Sales to produce high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective designs;
- creating detailed drawings;
- processing change requests;
- estimating project scope;
- and supporting fabrication with AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
- designing and drawing skills utilizing AutoCAD and/or Solidworks;
- basic design sketches and concepts;
- interpretation of drawings and design sketches;
- utilizing reference materials, including design standards, machinery handbooks, and national standards;
- recording and analyzing experimental data;
- processing engineering change requests and approval requests through investigating the project requirements, soliciting information, designing decisions pertaining to project, and determining how the change will affect bills of materials;
- 2D & 3D Modeling; and
- FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and CFD, Computational Fluid Dynamics knowledge.
