KRZYSZTOF KUBIAK

Prof. PhD., Eng. Krzysztof Kubiak graduated a Faculty of Non-Ferrous Metals at the AGH University of Science and Technology. He began his career in 1980 in WSK “PZL Rzeszów” (currently Pratt & Whitney in Rzeszów). Since 1991 he works at Rzeszów University of Technology (The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics at the Department of Materials Science). Material engineering specialist. His scientific interests concern plastic forming and heat treatment of titanium alloys, heat treatment and microstructure of molded nickel superalloys.  Coordinator and executor of 14 scientific projects (in association with companies, scientific entities and numerous expertises) for machinery industry, i. e.  during 2007-2012 he managed the MNiSW project ‘The direct crystallization technology – production of structural components for hot aviation engine parts.
He is an author and co-author of approximately 130 scientific publications; a member of the Expert Board of Science and Technical Studies (NCN NCBiR) and INNOLOT Project (NCBR).
Privately a proud grandfather of three, interested in motorization and photography.
