The global manufacturer of precision metal components produced using Metal Injection Molding technology, is investing in solutions from SECO/WARWICK for the third time.

A Global Partner Chooses SECO/WARWICK for the Third Time

An Indian aerospace partner ordered two AMS2750H-compliant tempering furnaces from SECO/WARWICK. This third order boosts local heat-treatment capabilities and precision.

  • An Indian partner ordered two AMS2750H-compliant tempering furnaces from SECO/WARWICK.
  • The units support stress relief and tempering of critical aerospace components.
  • The furnaces provide high-precision temperature uniformity of ±5°C in the working zone.
  • This marks the client’s third order, following a 2024 vacuum furnace delivery.
  • SECO/WARWICK’s Bengaluru base provides ongoing technical and operational support.

This time, the company has ordered two tempering furnaces designed to meet the requirements of AMS2750H. The equipment will support stress-relieving and tempering processes for critical aerospace components.

The investment strengthens the Partner’s capabilities in heat treatment processes for the aerospace industry, where not only the final properties of the part matter, but also full control and repeatability of every cycle.

Both units have been designed in accordance with AMS2750H requirements. They provide temperature uniformity in the working zone of ±5°C (±9°F). The furnaces will be used for stress relieving and tempering aerospace components, supporting processes that comply with the industry’s rigorous quality requirements.

A Relationship Built Over the Years Now Reaches the Next Level

This is the Partner’s third order from SECO/WARWICK. The most recent delivery, a Vector HPGQ high-vacuum furnace intended to support processes related to aerospace component production, took place in 2024.

The Client is consistently expanding its equipment base with technologies it uses in day-to-day operations and that have been proven in demanding processes.

“When a customer returns for additional equipment, it is not the result of a single successful delivery. It is the result of long-term work, reliable technology, and a shared understanding of the process. This producer has been developing capabilities for sectors with the highest quality requirements for years, and we have supported this growth as a technology partner. The two new furnaces complement the existing equipment base and help build even greater process independence in the aerospace area,” says Maciej Korecki, Vice President of the Vacuum Furnace Segment at the SECO/WARWICK Group.

Tempering and Stress Relieving: A Process Under Full Control

In aerospace component production, tempering and stress relieving are critical processes. Their role includes reducing internal stresses formed in the material, stabilizing component dimensions, and achieving the required balance between hardness, strength, and ductility.

In such applications, simply reaching the set temperature is not enough. Uniform temperature maintenance throughout the working zone, process accuracy control, and the ability to fully document the parameters of each cycle are essential. This is why AMS2750H compliant solutions are an important element in the development of facilities serving global aerospace supply chains.

The ordered furnaces ensure a stable, repeatable process, supporting heat treatment in line with aerospace sector requirements. For this Partner, these are the first tempering furnaces designed specifically for aerospace processes, marking another step toward serving higher value-added projects with a greater degree of regulatory oversight.

“India is making its presence increasingly visible in the global aerospace industry. Not only is the scale of production growing, but expectations for local component suppliers are rising as well. Today, competitiveness is built on process-verified quality, repeatability, and the ability to meet global standards. This project shows that our Partners in India are investing in technologies that allow them to turn these ambitions into practice,” explains Arvind Agrawal, Managing Director of SECO/WARWICK India.

Proximity, Experience, and Local Support

An important element of this cooperation is SECO/WARWICK’s local base in Bengaluru. The proximity of the technical team shortens response times, facilitates ongoing collaboration, and provides the Partner with support during startup, process execution, and further technology development.
