SECO/WARWICK has received an order from BODYCOTE, a global leader in heat treatment services and specialized metallurgical technologies, for a CaseMaster Evolution® vacuum furnace that will be installed at one of the customer’s European facilities.
Designed for LPC and Quenching Processes
The ordered system has been designed to perform Low Pressure Carburizing (LPC) as well as oil and gas quenching processes. The CaseMaster Evolution T is a three-chamber vacuum furnace equipped with an independent loading vestibule, a heating chamber, and a quenching vestibule featuring an oil quench tank and a gas cooling system.
A Three-Chamber Design for Demanding Heat Treatment Applications
The system also includes a 10-bar ABS gas-quenching system, providing considerable flexibility in heat-treatment operations. The three-chamber design enables efficient processing while maintaining high-quality standards and exceptional repeatability of process parameters.
Production Flexibility and a Wide Range of Applications
One of the key advantages of this solution is its versatility. The furnace design allows processes to be carried out using either oil or gas quenching and supports both in-line and non-in-line operating configurations. As a result, the system can adapt to changing production requirements and accommodate a wide variety of materials and heat treatment applications.
