End of the 2025 SECO/RUN season

01.12.2025

It is said that running is the simplest form of movement – all you need are shoes and willingness. However, anyone who has ever tried to stay in shape for a full 12 months knows that it is a sport requiring iron discipline. The #SECORUN team has just closed the 2025 season, proving that for SECO/WARWICK employees there is no “bad weather” – only more kilometers to cover.

From the spring start to the autumn finish line

This year’s race calendar was intense. The team, consisting of: Jacek, Kamil, Małgorzata, Jacek, Mariusz, Wojciech, and Sebastian, represented SECO/WARWICK on routes throughout the region, building form from early spring.

We opened the season with a strong accent on March 31st during the Half Marathon on the Świebodzin–Sulechów route (22 km). Later came the time for fast “tens”: from the May Spring Run in Zbąszynek and the Lubrza Ten, through June starts in Łagów and Niesulice. We welcomed autumn by returning to competition – first during the Świebodzin Ten, to finally close the racing season on September 27th at the Half Marathon in Wolsztyn.

A virtual journey across the ocean

When we summed up the individual counters of the runners, even we were surprised by the result. 9,045 kilometers.

What does this number mean? It’s not just thousands of calories burned. If our runners stood in a relay and set off west, this distance would allow them to run from the SECO/WARWICK headquarters straight to sunny Los Angeles! This shows the power of teamwork – everyone added their “brick” to this impressive result.

Scoreboard

Special recognition is due for the diversity of goals – some fought for personal bests on shorter distances, others aimed for marathon mileages.

Here is how this year’s individual achievements present themselves:

  • 👑 Jacek Majik – 2580 km (Absolute leader, who rarely took off his running shoes this year!)
  • Kamil Nowik – 1700 km
  • Małgorzata Zapart – 1420 km
  • Jacek Lewicki – 1100 km
  • Mariusz Grybko – 1080 km
  • Wojciech Rutkowski – 800 km
  • Sebastian Langner – 365 km

Thank you for this year!

The 2025 season goes down in history as a time of great results and a fantastic atmosphere within #SECORUN. We thank you for worthily representing the colors of SECO/WARWICK and showing that the sporting spirit in our company is doing great.

Now it’s time for a moment of breath and joint regeneration, but we are sure that plans for 2026 are already written out. See you on the trail!
