Aluminum Reverb Melting Furnace Systems
Reverb furnaces are direct-fired, open hearth furnaces used for melting and holding aluminum. Applications for the reverb furnace include melting sows, solids and scrap, along with alloying the molten metal before casting into usable forms.
We offer tilting and stationary aluminum melting furnaces in three configurations, follow these quick links for more information:
This year, the Aluminum Group will present on-site seminars for small groups on request. This seminar contains useful information for achieving maximum efficiencies for both new and used equipment. Call 814/332-8430, or e-mail Jack Mahoney for more information.

Information
Tilting Reverb Melting |
Aluminum Tilting Reverb Melting Furnaces have the reputation for premium equipment that delivers constant predictable pour rates for quality output. SECO/WARWICK has completed an engineering redesign program for our Tilting Reverb furnaces in the 40,000 to 240,000 pound range, realizing a 20-30% reduction in cost and a substantial improvement in delivery. |
Large Capacity Reverb Melting |
We specialize in large capacity Aluminum Reverb Melting Furnaces for melting and holding in both stationary and tilting design configurations. Read our Product Bulletin in html format for more information. |
Aluminum Rotary Melting |
Introducing the SCRAP MANAGER, a new, modular design tilting aluminum rotary melting furnace with a standard capacity of 12.5 tons (11.3 metric tons). Rotary furnaces are used for aluminum scrap and dross reclamation, lead reclamation, and copper smelting. Click here for the bulletin in .pdf format |
Tilting Barrel |
SECO/WARWICK tilting barrel furnaces are designed employing the natural advantages of an arch configuration to provide a compact melting furnace that is both productive and economical. The self-supporting steel shell and refractory lining offers the greatest resistance to thermal expansion or motion distortion. This design produces improved heat transfer for faster melting rates. By rotating the entire furnace chamber on its base, controlled pouring is achieved without the need for complicated equipment. Click here for Tilting Barrel Furnace information |
