A U.S. based manufacturer of bearings for demanding industrial and aerospace applications has once again invested in SECO/WARWICK vacuum technology. One of its facilities will receive a Vector vacuum furnace with high-pressure gas quenching (HPGQ) and Low Pressure Carburizing (LPC) option. This is another project completed for this Partner, and the first SECO/WARWICK system at this facility.
SECO/WARWICK is set to supply equipment to a key Indian manufacturer in the aviation sector. The order includes a VertiQuench furnace (an electric drop bottom furnace with rapid quenching), a mobile water and polymer quench tank, a rinsing station and additional accessories. This turnkey project encompasses engineering, delivery, installation, commissioning and acceptance services.

A Chinese manufacturer of gas turbine and aircraft engine components has once again selected SECO/WARWICK technology. The Vector vacuum furnace will be equipped with an all-metal hot zone that will be used for the heat treatment of turbine blades made from high-temperature alloys. This is the second delivery of a Vector single-chamber furnace to this customer in recent months and another example of a project in which a standard solution has been tailored to very precise process requirements.
